Nampa Idaho Family Photographer - "S" Family

Wow. I am sooooo behind on blogposts! I have had about a million and one things going on lately and luckily my clients are absolutely wonderful and so patient with me! I really appreciate that this time of year. :)

This gorgeous family has definitely been patient with me and hopefully they'll think it was worth it. :) Their gallery includes one of my favorite family photos to date! (It's the bottom picture) On the day of their shoot we went to meet at an abandoned property that I shoot at and what do we find?? Someone actually bought the house since the last time I was there! So, luckily we found another property just up the road and it worked out perfectly! I LOVE this location! What do you think?

Thanks "S" Family for spending the evening with me and letting me experiment with you. :)

And my very favorite picture....

Update

I just wanted to apologize to those that are waiting so patiently for their pictures! With the "busy"ness of the holiday season, comes a little extra wait time. I am working hard to get your photos back to you as quickly as possible!

For those with scheduled shoots coming up, please keep in mind that I am out about two weeks out on getting your photos back to you. I always try to have a sneak peek up on my facebook page a day or two after your shoot, but the remainder of the photos will take quite a bit longer.

I also wanted to let you know the last date that I will be doing sessions where I can guarantee your pictures back by Christmas is November 30th. If you would like your pictures a bit before that, so that you can have time to mail out Christmas cards, you will probably want to book your session by November 30th in order to allow ample time.

Thank you for your understanding and patience!

Nampa Idaho Family Photographer - "C" Family

This family squeezed in a session while visiting from Massachusetts for a wedding and I'm so glad they did! It was too bad Dad couldn't join them, as he stayed behind, but we still had fun trying to wrangle up the kiddos for some pics and squeezed mom in there for a couple, too. :) Hope you guys like them! Next time bring Dad along!

Boise Idaho Family Photographer - "B" Family

This family is just absolutely adorable. We bared the cold temps in the early morning hours and it was definitely worth it. I just LOVE the morning light at Albertson Park. This little man was still VERY sleepy, though, and it wasn't until we were near the end of the shoot that he decided to let some smiles out. Is he adorable or what? I just want to pinch those little cheeks! Hope you guys enjoy your sneak peek!

I LOVE this next one and it was TOTALLY worth lying belly down on the wet grass for...:)

And the usual question....color..?

...Or black & white?

Time for a fun contest!

I am in need of engagement photos for my portfolio and so have decided to hold a little contest!  The winning couple will receive a SUPER discount! You will get an engagement session at the location of your choice, PLUS disc of 10-15 edited images for only $75! (reg. $150) That's HALF OFF! So, how do you win?

Well, you don't need to be an engaged couple to enter, just a happy, head-over-heels-in-love couple who would love to have some great portraits to capture that love you have for each other! You can be dating, engaged, or married and there are four ways to enter! (You can do both as long as you leave a separate comment for each entry)

1.) Leave a comment on this post telling me how you met your significant other

2.) Leave a comment no this post telling me what you love about your significant other

3.) Go to my Facebook Page and "Like" it! Then come back here and leave a comment telling me. Or leave a comment telling me you are already a "liker."

4.) Go to my Facebook Page and leave a comment on one of my photos (from any album) and then come back here and leave a comment telling me you did so.

There you go! Pretty easy! You have until October 31st to enter and the winner will be randomly selected and announced on Nov. 1st! The winner will have two days to respond and claim their prize or another winner will be selected. The winner will have one week to schedule their session (for anytime within the next couple of weeks) and keep in mind that session fee ($75) is due upon booking in order to hold your date and time. This is a NONREFUNDABLE fee, but it is transferable, should you need to reschedule and give at least 24 hours notice.

Good luck everyone!

Boise Idaho Family Photographer - "D" Family

This little boy kept me super busy! Isn't he absolutely gorgeous, though? As is the rest of the family! We had fun exploring the train depot and wait until you see what happened when mom pulled out the bubbles! These are some of my favorite pictures EVER! I am so glad she brought along this great "prop" and the results are amazing. Make sure you look closely at the bubbles...the reflection is simply stunning. :) Thanks you guys for a great evening and letting me get my exercise while chasing the little man around. I hope you like them! I'm still sorting through a lot more, but I just HAD to get the bubble pictures posted because I couldn't wait to share. (I am definitely going to have to add bubbles to my bag of tricks!) P.S. Isn't this family adorable?
