After Your Session

Your session is over and now the waiting game begins!

I try really hard to get a couple of sneak peaks of your session up within a day or two, but sometimes it takes me a little bit longer, especially during the busy months. I will post a web-size version of one or two images on my Facebook Page that you are more than welcome to link to in any way you choose (on your own social networking accounts like Facebook and Twitter) or to show your family and friends. I do ask, though, that you please do not right click and save these images. When I re-size for web I make them a very low resolution, small file in order to help them load quickly. However, every time you right-click and save, the image is further compressed, and you can understand how this would be a very low quality representation of my image and the work I did to create it.

If you purchase a CD, you will find that I include the same web-sized resolution images that I post to my Facebook Page and that you may use to share directly on the web however you choose. If you do not purchase a disc, I will email you 3 web-sized images of your choice for online usage. (Some of my collections come with a few or all web-sized images). Thank you for being respectful of the time I take to make your pictures look great. :)

As I mentioned, I will post one or two pictures on my Facebook Page to get you excited and give a little taste of what's to come. I edit my sessions in the order I take them, so return time can take anywhere from 5 days to up to 3 weeks (during peak times of year). Once I am finished editing, we will schedule a personal viewing of your images. I have chosen not to host your images in an online gallery like you may be used to with previous photography experiences. There is high cost to hosting images online and I would rather cut those costs and pass those savings on to my clients, rather than bump up my prices to cover these costs. So, I instead schedule personal viewings where we sit and view all of the photos in your gallery. Please be prepared to put in your order at time of viewing. Payment in full is required before I can process your order. Viewing can be done in your home or at an agreed upon location.

At your viewing I will bring product and paper samples and help walk you through the process of ordering. The ordering session lasts up to 1 hour. Once your order is complete and payment is received, your order will be submitted. Turnaround time depends on the products ordered. If only prints are ordered, you can usually get your order in as little as a few days, but with specialty products it will take a little longer. For albums, canvas prints and gallery wraps, allow up to two weeks. If, during your scheduled viewing, you are unable to decide what you would like to order, you will have up to two days following to place an order. Beyond this point there will be an additional $20 fee to place an order. This is because I schedule my sessions in a way that allows me a certain amount of time in between and to get orders placed. When you take a bit longer to order, it then runs into the time of others', including myself.

I have a number of collections available and hopefully one of them will meet your needs (Click HERE to view). Substitutions can almost always be made for items of equal or lesser value, so if something doesn't quite work for you, let me know and we'll work it out so that it does! I put these collections in place for a couple of reasons. One is because I find many clients have a hard time choosing with unlimited options in front of them. By putting together collections based on popular orders, it helps provide starting points for clients who have a hard time deciding on what they want/need. Another benefit of purchasing a collection is that I am able to pass along even MORE savings to you versus if you just purchase at the regular "a la carte" pricing.

If you choose not to go with a collection, you may also purchase prints and products a la carte. Print pricing and information is located HERE. (Digital files are available for purchase also)

Please note that inevitably there will be photos from your session that will not make the cut. I have very high standards about which images are worthy of being printed. Let's face it...kids blink, arms move and get blurred, funny faces are made. My job is to sift through the hundreds of photos I take and provide you with the very BEST images from your session. I sift through each and every photo! Rest assured that the images you are provided in your viewing have passed my strict standards for quality. :)

If you are EVER dissatisfied with any portion of your service, please do not hesitate to contact me with any concerns. It is my top priority to make sure you walk away from the entire experience 110% happy with the outcome. However, I can never rectify a situation if you don't let me know about it. I would absolutely hate for you to walk away feeling like "well, I wish she would have done this..." or "I wish that wouldn't have happened..." or whatever the case may be. If there is every anything I can do to make your experience even a tiny bit better, please let me know. :)

**Pricing has been revamped as of Dec. 1st, 2010 so please review pricing before booking so as not to be taken by surprise! :)
